The surface

He caught me so deep in a river of shelter. That was all I ever needed. His senses payed off, then stayed with me while swimming to the surface. Blue and white is what I saw. I cried 'cause of the bright light of the sun reflecting on the water, then landed in my eyes. The warm, salty humid found a way down to my cheeks and finally stopped on my upper lip. I felt two lips, but they weren't mine, they were his. Absorbing the saltynes of my eye fluid. I tried my best to cry harder and more, hoping he would never stop tasting my cries. He caught me like a fish. I will never leave and I will never stop crying.
